A dated record of substantive corrections and updates made across this site. This isn't a marketing changelog — it's specifically the things that were wrong or thin and got fixed, logged rather than silently edited. See our Editorial Standards for the verification process behind these.
Corrected a Certificate Transparency citation from RFC 9162 to RFC 6962 across affected guides — 9162 is the formally current spec, but 6962 is what every CT log actually implements in production.
Fixed a category color-scheme inconsistency affecting several How-To articles, which had inherited an incorrect accent color from a template error.
Rebuilt the FAQ page's structured data after adding new questions — the machine-readable schema had fallen out of sync with the visible page content.
Removed templated, near-identical closing sections that had been added across roughly three-quarters of articles during earlier content expansion — replaced with genuine additional depth where the article was otherwise thin, or removed outright where the content added no real value.
Reduced repeated stylistic phrasing ("actually," "specifically," "genuinely" and similar) that had become overused across the article corpus during drafting.
Added SSRF protections to every tool that connects to a user-supplied hostname, after identifying that requests to internal or cloud-metadata addresses weren't being blocked.
Replaced a CDN-hosted cryptography library with a self-hosted copy, after being unable to independently verify the CDN provider's published integrity hash for the file.
Corrected several historical vulnerability references (CVE identifiers for Heartbleed, POODLE, BEAST, and others) after independently verifying each against NVD and Wikipedia rather than relying on memory.
