SSLGuides.com aims to be usable by as many people as possible, including visitors using a screen reader, keyboard-only navigation, or a browser's built-in zoom or high-contrast settings.

What we do

• Semantic HTML headings and landmarks throughout every guide, so screen readers can navigate page structure directly
• Sufficient color contrast between text and background across the site's dark theme
• Keyboard-operable navigation, search, and every interactive tool — nothing on this site requires a mouse
• Descriptive link text rather than generic "click here" links
• Responsive layout that works down to small mobile screens without horizontal scrolling

Known limitations

Some of the interactive tools (certificate decoders, converters) present technical output in tables and preformatted text blocks that are functional with a screen reader but not extensively optimized for one. We're working through these incrementally.
